Ashenport should have died almost a generation ago, as did the other towns along the Boulder Coast, when the Bane Wars devastated the region. But the residents, perhaps driven by a will to survive, have dwelt, if not in luxury, then at least in comfort. Fishing, hunting, and farming keep the town alive and there are even rumors that sunken treasures have breathed new life into Ashenport. Along with their new found prosperity, trade routes with nearby Blackstone and Tarnwood Falls, long thought to have fallen into obscurity, has begun once again to show traces of life.
