The limestone quarry has been around since before Blackstone was even a settlement. Back then, slaves would toil endlessly cutting blocks for use in the building of the ancient temples to the south. Now it is not used often, but occasionally men will pull rock from here to repair buildings and roads in the immediate countryside.
Blackstone Arch No one is quite sure why the Blackstone Arch was built. It is believed is was built by the slavemasters as a ritualistic shrine. A Feyn traveller once spoke of similar archways far to the south with the same ancient markings as the Blackstone Arch.
